Well my dear husband suprised me with the one thing I have been wanting for a couple of years now....a DSLR! I am so excited. It should be delivered any day now and I cannot wait to post some images here as I learn to use it.
I went with the Canon T1i. Let me know if any of you have any great websites or blogs as I venture into shooting with a real camera :-)

Congratulations on your DSLR!
You'll see it will free your creativity in a way not possible with a point and shoot (not that they don't take great pictures too!).
